Vontobel Reports Positive Net New Money Inflows

As of the end of March, Vontobel reported assets under management of 240,1 billion francs. Compared with the figure of 240,7 billion, this represents a slight decrease.

In the first three months of the year, the bank recorded positive inflows despite ongoing macroeconomic uncertainty and market volatility, and was able to keep assets stable, the wealth management-focused institution said in its trading update on Thursday.

Net inflows (1,7 billion francs) and currency effects (0,6 billion francs) were offset by market performance (-2,9 billion francs), it added.

Majority Attributable to Private Clients

Total net new money in the first quarter amounted to 1,7 billion francs. Of this, 1,3 billion francs came from the Private Clients segment, driven by continued inflows across all focus markets. The Institutional Clients segment generated net inflows of 0,3 billion francs, mainly from fixed income, the statement said.

This includes outflows of 1,0 billion francs from Raiffeisen funds. As already announced in 2024, the Futura funds will be fully managed by Raiffeisen by 2027.

Vontobel does not provide details on earnings development in its trading updates.
