HSBC Private Bank Appoints New Chief for German-Speaking Switzerland

Raphael Ostfeld has been named as the new head Switzerland domestic, Zurich at HSBC Private Bank. He assumed the role this month, HSBC confirmed to finews.com.

Ostfeld, who is based in Zurich, is responsible for spearheading HSBC Private Bank's domestic initiatives in German-speaking Switzerland, focusing on high-net-worth individuals, UHNWIs, and single-family offices. He will also concentrate on leveraging the global banking platform to offer tailored solutions to clients with diverse and complex needs.

Former CEO of Tramondo Investment Partners

Ostfeld brings nearly two decades of experience in wealth management and family office advisory to his new position. Before HSBC, he spent two years as a senior relationship manager at Pictet Wealth Management. In a former capacity, he was the head of family offices at Vontobel. Earlier in his career, he spent 13 years as the head of a single family office in Switzerland. Previously, he served as the CEO of ADUR Management in Zug. From 2008 until 2018, Ostfeld was the CEO of Tramondo Investment Partners.
