New Alliance for Digital Compliance in Banking and Insurance
Together, the three companies will support financial institutions, insurers and organizations with their expertise in the secure and fully digital handling of customer processes, according to a statement released on Wednesday.
With Ajila joining Swisscom Trust Services as an additional service provider on Mesoneer’s Digital Trust Platform, the partnership expands the platform’s ecosystem. Ajila’s solution complements the offering with a feature for digitizing customer forms. In many organizations, such forms are the starting point for business-critical processes, says Beat Steiner, CEO of Ajila.
«Digitized forms, combined with trust services, create a seamless flow of information. The Digital Trust Platform therefore covers the entire customer lifecycle – from onboarding and identification to legally binding signatures and integration into internal systems.»
Compliance Embedded in Processes
The resulting end-to-end digitalization not only reduces manual steps and shortens processing times, but also minimizes risks such as human error or fraud attempts. Compliance is embedded directly into processes rather than implemented as separate control steps.
«Security and convenience are not mutually exclusive,» explains Ralf Jenzer, Head of Products at Mesoneer. The joint solution demonstrates how regulatory requirements and customer experience can be combined. The Digital Trust Platform is therefore aimed at organizations with high demands for security, compliance and customer experience, particularly banks and other regulated companies.
A «Connected Trust Space»
Swisscom Digital Trust, Ajila and Mesoneer jointly pursue the vision of a «connected trust space», in which digital identities, electronic signatures and data can be used securely across national and technical boundaries.
«In this way, we enable financial institutions and companies to experience trust as a genuine digital value,» says Mario Voge, Head of Growth Management at Swisscom Trust Services.
With a view to the upcoming European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet, the three companies also aim to further strengthen interoperability and the cross-border use of digital trust mechanisms.
The cooperation with Mesoneer is based purely on a business partnership; there is no financial or corporate participation, Swisscom said in response to an inquiry.
