What do you do first in the morning?

I like to take time early in the morning, while the family is still sleeping, to view the agenda for the day, and review my presentations if it’s one of those days. It’s a moment for myself, with my coffee, that allows me to have a clear vision of where I’m going and stay focused.

What is the best part of your job?

My team and co-workers! I am lucky to be surrounded by a team of competent and fun people that make this journey with Hublot a real adventure. I am very proud of what the team is achieving! I also love being close to the product and seeing our ideas come to life!

A moment that changed your life?

Having my first kid, of course! But also living in Hong Kong and in the US were life changing experiences, that allowed me to become the person I am today, opening your mind and being able to adapt to different cultures, ultimately allowing you to unterstand your clients!

Which cars do you own? Which one is your favorite? 

I own a Porsche Cayenne, I truly love it!

What advice would you give your 20-year-old self?

To trust the process and be true to yourself! Things will work out!

What are you particularly proud of?

I am particularly proud of what Hublot has accomplished in less than 50 years of history! The amount of innovation and savoir faire in terms of materials and movements that the Brand disposes of is really impressive!

What do you do when you have doubts?

Take a step back and think about the broader picture and remember the end goal!

What is your favorite wine?

I really enjoy the Château Lynch-Bages, one of my favorites, from 2005.

Which projects are you currently working on?

On so many, and I wish I could tell you everything but when it comes to our R&D, it is mostly confidential. However I can say that we are working on a new look for the Big Bang, which you will discover at W&W as well as novelties in Classic Fusion, in terms of design, towards the end of the year!

What do you admire in other people? 

In general, I admire passion, integrity, intellectual curiosity, and a strong work ethic in others. I’m also often attentive to people’s energy and positive vibes that they communicate. This is so important as it’s contageous!

What would be the biggest surprise for someone who had to take over your job for a day?

The biggest surprise would likely be the sheer volume and diversity of decisions that need to be made daily, coupled with the global scope of our operations. It's a role that demands constant strategic thinking and adaptability.

What is your personal drive?

My personal driving force is the pursuit of excellence and a relentless desire to innovate and stay creative. To continually challenge the status quo and create something truly unique and impactful is what motivates me, and what will make the success of Hublot

What are you afraid of?

As a leader, one is always mindful of the challenges that can impact a business, from market shifts to unforeseen global events. My focus is always on anticipating and mitigating risks, whilst being innovative and taking risks at times, to ensure Hublot's continued success.

Your favorite watch brand?

Without a doubt, Hublot is my favorite watch brand 😉 My dedication and passion are fully invested in its success and its unique position in the world of luxury timepieces. However, I must say I have quite a diverse range of watches in my watch collection. I just don’t get to wear them enough as I would love to!

Is there an unfulfilled dream you would still like to realize?

Who knows – I would have to think about that! What I must say is that life is short so we must live our day to the fullest of our potential, living all moments and opportunities fully!

Your best investment?

My best investment has always been in people and in fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. Investing in talented individuals gives me a great sense of satisfaction. Otherwise, my best investment is the quality time I get to spend with my wife and children, who are growing way too fast!
