FGS Global Strengthens Swiss Crisis and Litigation Communications

FGS Global is strengthening its crisis and litigation communications capabilities in Switzerland with the appointment of Jean-François Tanda as Managing Director in Zurich.

Jean-François Tanda brings more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of media, law, and strategic communications. Prior to joining FGS Global, he was a founding partner and communications adviser at Vanda Advisory Ltd, where he advised law firms, financial market participants, start-ups, and non-profit organizations on litigation communications, media relations, and reputational matters.

Reporter For Leading Swiss Media Outlets

Earlier in his career, Tanda worked as an investigative journalist and as a business and news reporter for leading Swiss and international media outlets. He also served as legal counsel to Switzerland’s public broadcaster and to the country’s largest journalists’ association, further deepening his expertise at the nexus of media practice and legal risk.

Christine Graeff, Head of FGS Global’s Swiss operations and a member of the Global Executive Committee, said: «We are delighted to welcome Jean-François to FGS Global. His unique combination of experience in journalism, legal counsel, and strategic communications will further strengthen our ability to guide clients through high-stakes situations in both the Swiss and international media environments.»

Carolyn Pike, Partner and Head of the Swiss Crisis Practice, added: «Jean-François enhances our advisory capabilities in situations where litigation risk, media scrutiny, and reputational exposure intersect. His experience will be particularly valuable in complex and fast-moving scenarios.»

With this appointment, FGS Global underscores its continued investment in the Swiss market, which plays an increasingly important role for companies, financial institutions, and law firms navigating complex legal, regulatory, and reputational challenges.
