Avaloq Names New Managing Director for Switzerland
The fintech house, Avaloq, has appointed Christian Haux as its new managing director for the region Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
Haux assumed the position on 1 April, he shared via LinkedIn.
He succeeds Georges Roten, who was also the former CEO of Avaloq Sourcing Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Roten moved to the role of senior strategic sales consultant this April.
Deep Roots in Fixed Income
Based in Zurich, Haux most recently the firm's head of client management Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
The manager originally joined Avaloq in 2023, as head key account management and technical account management Switzerland and Liechtenstein Service. In a former capacity, he was the head bond trading at Basler Kantonalbank.
From 2012 until 2018, he worked in fixed income trading at Commerzbank in Zurich. Earlier in his career, he held several positions in fixed income trading at Credit Suisse.
