Swissquote Posts Sharp Rise in Pre-Tax Profit

According to preliminary figures, Swissquote closed 2025 with a pre-tax profit of nearly 420 million francs. Compared with the previous year, this represents an increase of almost 22 percent.

Net revenue is expected to amount to at least 720 million francs, the company said in its statement on Friday. In 2024, the online bank generated 661 million francs in net revenue, which would translate into a rise of 8,9 percent.

Client assets reached nearly 89 billion francs as of 31 December 2025, representing an increase of around 17 percent. At the end of 2024, Swissquote reported client assets of 76,3 billion francs.

Net new money inflows amounted to 8,5 billion francs, compared with 8,3 billion francs in 2024.

Positive Impact from One-Off Items

«The financial results were supported by customer growth, resilient revenues, as well as one-off items with a positive net effect of around 50 million francs,» the statement continued. The most significant special effect was the revaluation of Swissquote’s original 50 percent stake in Yuh following the acquisition of the remaining half.

Swissquote plans to publish its annual report for the 2025 financial year on 19 March 2026.
