GenTwo: Structured Products Start-Up Reaches New Milestone

GenTwo announced on Tuesday that it has surpassed $7 billion in Assets under Service. The Zurich-based B2B fintech crossed the $6 billion threshold in July 2025 — as finews reported at the time.

The latest billion accumulated in roughly ten months — a solid pace, though somewhat slower than the prior doubling from $3 billion to $6 billion, which took less than two years. The company now counts over 300 clients across 26 countries.

Proof of Concept

Patrick Loepfe, co-founder and chairman, read the milestone as confirmation of the underlying idea. «When we crossed six billion dollars last year, we described it as proof that democratizing financial innovation is both viable and essential,» he said. «Reaching seven billion in under a year makes the point even more forcefully.»

Philippe A. Naegeli, co-founder and CEO, pointed not to the milestone itself but to what lies ahead. «Crossing seven billion is a signal that the barriers to financial product creation are coming down,» Naegeli said. Since its founding in 2018, GenTwo has facilitated the creation of more than 1,650 products through its Securitization-as-a-Service platform.

IG Bank Joins AMC Creator

Earlier this week, GenTwo also disclosed that IG Bank has joined AMC Creator as an execution partner. The platform — which enables financial professionals to structure assets into Actively Managed Certificates — launched in 2025 with Swissquote, ISP, and Sygnum Bank as founding members.

IG Bank has worked with GenTwo since 2020. Babita Ittoo Devillers, managing director at IG Prime, said the partnership gives asset managers «direct access to IG Bank's institutional execution and liquidity, making structured product creation faster and more flexible.» Bank Frick and Interactive Brokers have also joined AMC Creator in recent months.
