LGT Capital Partners Aims to Conquer the U.S. Market With Invesco

Global asset manager Invesco, whose shares are listed on the New York Stock Exchange, and LGT Capital Partners, the alternative investment firm based in Pfäffikon (Schwyz) and—like LGT Bank—owned by the Princely House, have announced a strategic partnership in private markets for the U.S. market.

According to Monday's press release, «multi-alternative private market solutions» are to be developed for the U.S. wealth management and retirement market. This will make access to the private markets asset class easier for investors.

«More Differentiated Sources of Return and Growth»

Invesco-CEO Andrew Schloss commented: «We believe that exposure to private markets can provide differentiated sources of return and growth. Together with LGT Capital Partners, we aim to make more innovative solutions in asset classes that have traditionally been reserved for institutional investors accessible to a broader group of U.S. wealth and retirement investors.»

And Roberto Paganoni, CEO of LGT Capital Partners, added: «The alliance is an important step in strengthening our presence in the U.S. market, expanding our asset management capabilities, and unlocking potential in the retirement space.»
