What is the best thing about your job?

I am a people person. For me, the best part of my job is the interaction with people!

A moment that changed your life?

The birth of our daughter Elena.

What cars do you own? Which is your favorite?

For me, cars are all about comfort, design, and understated elegance. I'm fascinated by modern technology, even in the smallest details, as well as smooth, quiet acceleration.

What advice would you give to your 20-year-old self?

Take your life into your own hands. Don't rely on others to create your happiness. The responsibility lies with you alone.

What are you particularly proud of?

I am proud of the path I've taken - and of staying true to myself along the way.

What do you do when you have doubts?

I ask my family and friends, listen to their perspectives, and ultimately make a decision that aligns with my own intuition.

What is your favorite wine?

I'm not a traditional wine drinker. In winter or after a hearty meal, I enjoy a good schnapps - and if there's something to celebrate, it has to sparkle.

What projects are you currently working on?

Professionally, the focus is on growth - with all the opportunities and challenges that come with it. Privately, I consciously look for balance and moments of calm. Both keep me moving.

What do you admire in other people?

I admire people who fight without becoming rigid - who radiate calm, lightness, and humor. What I value the most is when someone can laugh at themselves. To me, that's true style.

What would be the biggest surprise for someone who had to take over your job for a day?

There probably wouldn't be any major surprises. With us, the same principle applies as at home: whatever you expect from others, you demonstrate yourself.

What is your personal drive?

Curiosity keeps me going - whether it's about people, ideas or possibilities.

What are you afraid of?

I fear losing control over my body or mind the most. And, on a more mundane note: large insects and the annual tax bill. Both reliably cause discomfort.

Your favorite watch brand?

Watches are more than timekeepers to me - they express attitude and a way of life. Today, I find it fascinating that the spirit of the times is moving toward vitality and self-optimization. Perhaps the fitness tracker is the new status symbol - less prestige, more awareness. My favorite? The one that fits my current stage of life.

Is there an unfulfilled dream you would still like to realize?

I've always dreamed of going on a safari in Africa - seeing animals in the wild would feel like such a gift. I'd love to visit the pyramids someday, too. And then there are my more personal goals: getting my boating license, reaching a solid level in tennis, and finally becoming fluent in Spanish.

Your best investment?

My best investment has been the time and energy  I put into my contacts and relationships - into friendships, mutual trust and genuine connections that last a lifetime.

Cindy Eicher began her career at UBS and later gained leadership experience at Vontobel, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and as Head of Private Banking at J.P. Morgan Zurich. In 2022, she founded a consultancy focused on financing solutions outside the traditional banking sector. Since June 2024, she has served as DCP Client Partner AG. She also holds a board mandate at Raiffeisenbank an der Limmat and is active in cultural projects.
