Western Swiss CFT Benefits from Strong Client Activity
For the first half of 2025, Compagnie Financière Tradition (CFT) reported a net profit of 70.2 million Swiss francs. Compared with the same period last year, this represents an increase of 17 percent. At constant exchange rates, the rise would have been 20 percent, the company said in a statement on Friday.
Operating profit improved by 31 percent to 88.2 million francs. At constant exchange rates, the increase amounted to 34 percent.
The revenue figures pre-released in early August were confirmed. On an adjusted basis, including contributions from joint ventures and at constant exchange rates, revenues rose by 9.6 percent to 632.1 million francs.
Revenue Growth Across All Asset Classes
The company said it was able to build on the momentum of previous years in the first half and achieved revenue growth across all asset classes and regions. «This development was supported by increased market volatility, driven by ongoing uncertainty regarding monetary policy, new trade barriers, and escalating geopolitical tensions,» the company wrote.
At the beginning of the second half, CFT maintained its growth momentum. The group intends to pursue its path of organic growth, expand its global presence, and leverage the breadth of its brokerage offering across various asset classes.
CFT is making targeted investments in the digitalization of its activities, particularly through the development of hybrid brokerage solutions and the expansion of data and analytics services. Its expertise in data science is expected to drive further innovation and deliver added value for clients.
CFT does not provide guidance for the full year.
