Neue Bank: Solid Results in the First Half-Year
In the first half of 2025, Neue Bank was able to increase operating income by 2,4 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 17,5 million francs, according to figures released on Friday.
The main driver was the result from financial transactions, which rose by 38,1 percent to 4,1 million francs. Commission and service income remained stable at 8,3 million francs, while the lower interest rate environment pushed net interest income down by 11 percent to 5,1 million francs.
Slightly Lower Profit
Operating expenses rose by 5,8 percent to 13,2 million francs, mainly due to higher personnel costs (+12,4 percent).
Half-year profit declined by 5,7 percent to 3,5 million francs. The cost-income ratio accordingly increased slightly to 75,2 percent.
Almost 6,5 Billion in Client Assets
Client deposits increased by 66 million to 1,13 billion francs within six months. The loan volume amounted to 438 million francs. Assets under management stood at 6,42 billion francs at the end of June, representing a decline of 3,7 percent compared to the end of 2024. Net new money inflows totaled 7,4 million francs.
With a Tier 1 ratio of 28,0 percent and a leverage ratio of 10,0 percent, the bank continues to show the strongest capital base of all banks in the Principality. The number of employees rose slightly to 87 on a full-time equivalent basis.

With the appointment of Roman Pfranger as CEO in spring 2025 (as reported by finews.com), the bank announced plans to invest more heavily in growth. The first effects are expected to become visible in the second half of the year.
