Twint announced on Tuesday the launch of its Business Portal App for merchants.

According to Twint, more than 80% of Swiss merchants now accept payments via the platform. The new Business Portal App is designed to provide business owners with better visibility into incoming payments, including real-time push notifications.

Express checkout option

Additionally, online merchants can offer their customers an express checkout option. This feature enables seamless payment processing by automatically transmitting the shipping details stored in the Twint ID to the merchant.

With more than five million users, Twint is one of Switzerland’s leading payment apps.

Its shareholders include BCV (Banque Cantonale Vaudoise), PostFinance, Raiffeisen, UBS, Zürcher Kantonalbank, SIX, and Worldline.
