Have Your Say: Who's Driving Innovation in Swiss Finance?
The awards will be presented at AssetRush Zurich 2026, the Swiss financial center's festival of innovation, taking place on May 21 at the Kaufleuten.
From our extensive coverage, we have selected the projects and products that generated the greatest interest among our readers.
In three categories — Digital Assets, Traditional Assets, and Alternatives — five candidates compete in each. You decide who wins. Voting closes on Wednesday, May 13, at midnight.
Category I: Digital Assets
Amina Bank — Franz Bergmueller, CEO
Amina Bank, Crypto Finance, and Incore Bank have jointly demonstrated that regulated Swiss financial institutions can process instant account-to-account transfers with transaction netting over a shared digital infrastructure — without creating new currencies and operating fully within existing Finma regulations. The second-phase pilot on the Google Cloud Universal Ledger has advanced from proof-of-concept to production validation, showing how settlement efficiency can increase exponentially as more institutions join the network. The initiative lays the foundation for cross-currency settlement and the transfer of digital assets in interbank operations. → finews article (in German)

Pictet Asset Management — Olivier Monti, Senior Quantitative Analyst and Investment Manager
Pictet Asset Management and SIX SDX tokenized EUR- and CHF-denominated corporate bonds for the first time and sold fractional quantities to clients on blockchain infrastructure — the first live production of its kind on regulated financial market infrastructure. Swiss Stablecoin — Pascale Bruderer, Executive Chairwoman
