Bankers Swear By Longevity

«Longevity» is a term that is increasingly gaining traction. Since last summer, there has been a walk-in clinic on Uraniastrasse 18 in Zurich that offers treatments promising a longer and healthier life.

Ayun's offerings include so-called «Longevity Checks,» which provide insights into an individual's health status, as well as a variety of preventive treatments such as oxygen therapy, red light therapy, contrast therapy, and IV therapy.

Healthy Aging—But at What Price?
The Ayun team consists of doctors, sports scientists, and nutrition consultants. However, investing in health is not cheap: The Longevity Starter Package costs 3,134 francs, while additional analyses can drive the total costs up to 7,000 francs.

Bankers Are Particularly Convinced

The demand for such services is steadily increasing, especially in the greater Zurich area. According to Ayun, a significant portion of its clientele comes from the financial sector. Customers from this background often place great importance on performance, resilience, and long-term health to manage their professional lives and achieve their personal goals, the company says. Ayun has no shortage of customers—in fact, its customer base is growing rapidly.

From Doctor Visits to Apps

The market for longevity services is expanding. Recently, Care, a Swiss HealthTech company, opened a dedicated practice in Zurich. In addition, the company has launched a health app for personal data tracking.

Care follows a partnership model with medical practices, pharmacies, and laboratories to expand access to preventive healthcare. The goal is to make preventive medicine more widely available.

The Care health platform offers users check-ups and blood tests through partners such as Praxis Fischmann in Lucerne, the Medics Ambulatory Clinic in Bern, and Lab to go in Zurich. More partnerships are planned.

Focus on Cardiovascular Diseases

Through the Care app, patients receive their blood test results, diagnoses, and medical reports in a digital format. Additionally, they can use the app to book medical consultations and receive personalized recommendations on nutrition, exercise, and dietary supplements.

A particular focus is on preventing chronic diseases such as diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular diseases, which account for about 80 percent of healthcare costs in Switzerland.
