Zug-Based Wealth Manager Recruits Two Highly Experienced Specialists

The Zug-based wealth manager Tramondo Investment Partners has expanded its team with two seasoned Senior Relationship Managers, Michael Thalmann and Roger Geissbühler, who will oversee advisory services for both domestic and international clients. According to Tuesday's announcement, these two hires bring decades of expertise in wealth and portfolio management, aligning with Tramondo’s client-centered growth strategy, which also aims to create an attractive environment for entrepreneurial-minded relationship managers.

Early Beginnings at UBS

Thalmann previously held a similar role with a prominent Swiss wealth manager, leading its Wealth Management division. Before that, he spent six years at Investarit, serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager and as a member of the executive board. From 2010 to 2017, Thalmann was a Portfolio Manager at WMPartners Vermögensverwaltungs AG (formerly Infidar Vermögensberatung).

Geissbühler, before joining Tramondo, served for a year as Senior Portfolio Manager at the same Swiss wealth manager as Thalmann. He also spent 26 years at Investarit, where he last held the position of Senior Portfolio Manager and was an executive board member. Geissbühler began his career in 1978 with a banking apprenticeship at UBS in Bern and subsequently held various positions at the major bank in Geneva, Bern, Zurich, Paris, London, and Chiasso.

«Shared Commitment to Independent, Quality-Oriented Wealth Management»

Raphael Müller, CEO of Tramondo, commented on the new appointments: «With Michael Thalmann and Roger Geissbühler, we’re enhancing our team with two outstanding experts who share our commitment to independent, quality-oriented wealth management. At a time when many financial institutions are retreating from specialized services, our approach offers distinct advantages for our clients.»

Founded in 2007, Tramondo Investment Partners comprises a team of 18 and collaborates closely with partner firm Dr. J. Bollag & Cie.
