Helvetia Appoints Internal Candidate to Succeed Head of Sales
The insurer Helvetia is restructuring its sales organization, effective January 1, 2025, in preparation for the succession of Ralph Jeitziner, who has led the sales team for 29 years, first at Coop Leben, followed by Nationale Suisse, and most recently at Helvetia
According to the announcement on Tuesday morning, Jeitziner will retire on April 30, 2026. His successor, Simon Weiner, will take over the leadership of sales in early 2026 and will also join the Executive Board of Helvetia Switzerland.
Weiner, currently Head of Sales Region Central, will assume a new role starting in early 2025 as the newly created Head of Sales Union Switzerland. This position will consolidate the sales channels with direct customer access in Helvetia's home market of Switzerland, ensuring optimal coordination for customer satisfaction.
