Krypto Protectas Capitalis (KPC) was founded by Jens Heidemann and Carsten Priebe, who serve as President and Vice President, respectively. The aim is to create an independent certification body for companies in the crypto space.

«Our certification provides companies with a solid foundation to build customer trust and position themselves as reliable players in the crypto market,» explains President Heidemann.

KPC intends to ensure these paid certifications through technical audits and comprehensive security assessments. This would allow companies to distinguish themselves from crypto fraud schemes and present themselves as safe operators. In addition to the technical evaluation, companies' financial metrics will also be analyzed using an internal rating system to ensure their stability and integrity.

In Discussion with Interested Parties

At its inception, the association has not yet secured any members, Vice President Priebe finews.ch. However, discussions are already in progress. Certification will be a prerequisite for any company seeking membership in the association.

Priebe anticipates that regulation in the crypto space will increase in the coming years. «But for now, it's still very much the Wild West. Almost every day, there are new reports of fraudulent activities in the crypto market,» he added.
