Helvetia Appoints Analyst as New Head of Investor Relations

Starting in early November, Peter Eliot will take over the leadership of the Investor Relations department at Helvetia. He succeeds Philipp Schüpbach, who has been with the team for nine years and took over its leadership in 2021. Schüpbach has decided to pursue a new challenge outside the company and will leave Helvetia at the end of September, according to a statement from the insurance group.

Eliot brings 19 years of experience in research and financial analysis and is currently leading the insurance sector research team at Kepler Cheuvreux. Prior to that, he held a similar role at Berenberg, with previous career stops include Bacon & Woodrow and Deloitte.

Communication with the Financial Market

In his new role, Peter Eliot will oversee communication with the financial markets and manage relationships with investors and financial analysts. He will report directly to Group CFO Annelis Lüscher Hämmerli.

«It is crucial that investors and financial analysts understand our numbers and our strategy. I am therefore very pleased that we have been able to bring Peter Eliot, an expert in these areas, on board as the Head of Investor Relations," said the CFO.
