Generational Shift at Liechtenstein Wealth Manager

Sebastian Schredt has been appointed Partner and member of the management team at Salmann Investment Management, effective from early July. The Liechtenstein-based asset manager announced on Tuesday that Schredt will oversee business development and client relations at Salmann.

Since September 2023, Schredt has served as a client advisor at Salmann, bringing several years of experience in corporate transactions and private equity fund management in Zurich.

«By appointing Sebastian Schredt to the management team and as a partner shareholder, we underscore his commitment to the sustainable and future-oriented growth of the company,» said Alfons Thöny, Chairman of the Board at Salmann.

Board of Directors Changes

There are also changes in Salmann's Board of Directors: René Frank assumes the role of Board Chairman, succeeding Alfons Thöny, who steps down after over 30 years in the position but will continue as a board member and partner. «Alfons Thöny has significantly contributed to Salmann's growth and development. I am pleased that he will remain on the board, leveraging his extensive network for Salmann's benefit,» emphasized René Frank.

Additionally, founding shareholder Mario Zindel will retire from the board. Philipp Marxer will succeed him, representing the interests of the operationally active partners on the board as CEO of Salmann.

Zindel co-founded the company in 1985 and has been instrumental in shaping its strategic direction over nearly 40 years.

Founded in 1985, Salmann Investment Management is one of the oldest independent asset managers in Liechtenstein.
