Basler Kantonalbank: Two New Members Wanted for the Council

There will be two changes in the board of directors of the Basler Kantonalbank (BKB): Karoline Sutter and Urs Berger, after more than ten years of service, will not be available for re-election for the next four-year term. This was announced in a statement on Monday.

Vacancies to be Advertised in the Coming Days

The two departing board members held key positions in the BKB's senior management body during their tenure. Since 2017, Sutter has served as Chair of the Audit Committee, while Berger has been Chair of the Compensation and Nomination Committee since 2017.

The two vacancies will be advertised in the next few days. The members of the board are elected by the Cantonal Government. The next term of office begins on April 1, 2025.
