iCapital Finds Another Partner

The private markets specialist Pantheon and the fintech platform iCapital, which is also represented in Zurich, have agreed to collaborate. The aim is to expand access to Pantheon's Evergreen offerings for investors worldwide, as stated in an announcement on Wednesday.

With assets under management of around 65 billion US-dollars, Pantheon offers investments through secondary, direct co-investments, and primary funds, it further states. The company is a pioneer in opening access to private markets for a broader range of investors. Currently, Pantheon offers a range of Evergreen solutions with total assets under management of 7 billion dollars.

Expanding the distribution of Evergreen products

The collaboration with iCapital aims to improve access to Pantheon's Evergreen offerings worldwide. These are investment products without defined maturity and volume. This also includes the company's first open, semi-liquid private equity offering outside the USA. This targets markets with growing demand in Europe, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia.

«We are very pleased to partner with Pantheon and support them in their mission to make their suite of evergreen private markets investment products available to the wealth management channel,» said Marco Bizzozero, head of international at iCapital, quoted in the announcement.

According to the information, assets under management on the iCapital platform amount to 187.5 billion dollars. The company employs nearly 1,500 people worldwide.
