CFT Bucks Stock Market Headwinds

Compagnie Financière Tradition (CFT) was able to increase its sales in the first half of 2022 by 7 percent to 483.9 million Swiss francs ($507.7 million) compared to the same period last year, the Lausanne-based company,  announced on Wednesday. Sales in the second quarter were also higher than in 2021 at 235.2 million francs. The company does not report profit figures.

Volumes in its main interdealer brokerage business rose 7.3 percent year-on-year in the first half, while currency trading for Japanese retail investors climbed as much as 17.5 percent, the firm said.
