Hugo Baenziger: Not the End Yet?

The 63-year-old Swiss banker left two top jobs last year: that of Eurex chairman as well as his partnership at wealth manager Lombard Odier. In the twilight of his career, Hugo Baenziger isn’t likely to be happy with «just» being head of a Red Cross audit committee and chairman of the EABH, or European Association for Banking History. Baenziger, a long-time confidante of former Deutsche Bank boss Josef Ackermann, still maintains a brash, alpha-male, impatient manner – one that is a hard sell in banking today.
