LFDE Names New Switzerland Head

Samira Sadik began her career in 1996 at the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 2004, she joined Bank Syz, where she spent nearly a decade heading activities in French-speaking Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Belgium under the Oyster Funds umbrella. In 2017, Sadik moved to Lombard Odier Investment Managers, most recently serving as Head of Wholesale for Switzerland.

The appointment comes as LFDE steps up its push into the Swiss market, which the Paris-based asset manager considers a strategic pillar of its broader European expansion. The firm has been active in Switzerland since 2010 and opened a Geneva office in 2016. Sadik will report to Anne-Sophie Girault, Head of International Development, also based in Geneva.

Building Strategic Partnerships

«Her expertise in fund distribution and her ability to develop strategic partnerships with Swiss investors are key assets in achieving our ambitions. Her in-depth understanding of the needs of wholesale clients and Key Accounts will help to accelerate the growth of the LBP AM group in the Swiss market,» said Girault.

«Joining LFDE at this key stage in its international expansion is an exciting challenge. The depth of expertise and know-how of the LBP AM group's management teams, as well as the wide range of listed and unlisted solutions, are key strengths in the Swiss market,» Sadik added.
