At Fribourg Cantonal Bank (FCB), Marylaure Baechler, Head of the Retail Banking Division and member of the Executive Board, has announced her resignation effective 30 November.

A successor has not yet been appointed. The Executive Board will ensure a smooth leadership transition in the coming weeks and will communicate details about the new management structure at a later date, according to the statement.

Baechler joined FCB from Credit Suisse (CS) in autumn 2024. She took over the leadership of the Retail Banking division in May of this year. At CS, she spent almost 22 years in various management and leadership roles in retail banking in Fribourg and Lausanne, according to her LinkedIn profile.

The Board of Directors and the Executive Board of FCB express their sincere thanks to Baechler for her commitment, expertise, and contribution to the development of the Retail Banking division, and wish her every success in her future endeavours.
