What do you do first in the morning?

I start with mobility exercises.

What is the best thing about your job?

The versatility, the many encounters with people, and the opportunity to actively shape so many things.

A moment that changed your life?

The birth of my children and saying goodbye to my parents. The former brought an overwhelming feeling of love and care, the latter an immense sense of sorrow and gratitude.

What cars do you own? Which is your favorite?

A VW Polo. Cars don’t play an important role in my life, although I can certainly appreciate the appeal of beautiful cars.

What advice would you give to your 20-year-old self?

Take care of your body and follow your passions. Both will pay off one day.

What are you particularly proud of?

That many young people tell me I am a role model for them.

What do you do when you have doubts?

I talk to my wife. She has an incredible intuition an often provides alternative perspectives on things.

What is your favorite wine?

I prefer local wines – both at home and when traveling. For me, a good wine always comes with a good story.

What projects are you currently working on?

A top priority is the digitalization and automation of processes, ensuring that the valuable time of our experts can be directed as effectively as possible toward serving our clients.

What do you admire in other people?

Passion for a particular cause, integrity, and excellence in a given field—for example, in music.

What would be the biggest surprise for someone who had to do your job for a day?

The sheer diversity of topics and challenges.

What is your personal drive?

I want to leave a big footprint – despite my relatively small feet.

What are you afraid of?

Losing my loved ones.

Omega (Speedmaster Moonwatch)

Is there an unfulfilled dream you would like to realize?

I would like to complete a pilgrimage around Mount Kailash in western Tibet.

Your best investment?

My education.
