UBS: New Head of Investments and Pension Solutions in Personal Banking

Jackie Bauer has been promoted to Head of Investments and Pension Solutions in Personal Banking at UBS. She assumed the position in Zurich on July 7, as UBS confirmed to finews.com.

Most recently, Bauer served as COO of the Institute for Sustainability and Impact within UBS’s Chief Sustainability Office. She has been with UBS for over twelve years, spending the majority of her career in the Chief Investment Office, where she first worked in strategic asset allocation and coordinated the monthly investment process. She later specialized as an economist and pension expert, focusing on analyses of the Swiss economy and pension system as well as investments for Swiss pension funds.

Bauer began her career at UBS in the Graduate Talent Program. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Zurich and is a CFA charterholder.

Commenting on her new role, Bauer said: «For me, pension planning means making conscious, long-term financial decisions today in order to be best prepared for all future life situations – not just for retirement. Investing plays a central role in this: those who harness the power of the financial markets can plan for the future more effectively in the long run.»
