Zeltner & Co No Longer Family-Run
A leadership transition took place in July at the investment boutique Zeltner & Co, which also presents itself as a family office.
Founder Thomas Zeltner has resigned as CEO, and Patrick Spichiger — a person from outside the family — has taken over the management. The new CEO has already been working for Zeltner as a Private Lending Advisor and has played a significant role in the success of the Private Lending AMC (Actively Managed Certificate).
Siegenthaler Joins the Board of Directors
Changes are also occurring on the Board of Directors. Kim Wirth, co-founder of Zeltner and already a member of the board, will now assume the role of Chairman. He will continue to serve as Chief Investment Officer.
In addition, Thomas Siegenthaler will become a member of the Board of Directors. According to a statement on the company’s website, he has «for many years — and across generations — provided trusted, risk-conscious advice to both Jürg and Thomas Zeltner.»
Jürg Zeltner, the late father of Thomas Zeltner who passed away in 2020, held senior positions at UBS for many years and was most recently CEO of private bank Quintet.
