Singaporean Wealth Managers With Swiss Background Merge

Lumen Capital Investors (LCI), a long-established multi-family office and wealth management firm, is merging with the Wealth Division of Aument Capital Group, a boutique firm specializing in serving entrepreneurial families.

As part of the agreement, Aument is acquiring a strategic stake in LCI and will fully integrate its family office and discretionary asset management services into the LCI platform. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The merged entity will operate under the name Lumen Capital Investors and aims to become Asia’s leading independent wealth platform – offering consolidated reporting, flexible mandates, and bespoke family office solutions.

The strategic fit is obvious: LCI brings over a decade of experience in independent wealth management, including open-architecture solutions and close relationships with custodian banks.

Aument, in turn, contributes deep expertise in the mindset of entrepreneurs, along with institutional-grade technology infrastructure and tailored administrative solutions.

«This merger is a logical next step,» said Wilfried Kofmehl, Founding Partner and Chairman of LCI. «We are combining proven wealth management with technology-enabled, entrepreneur-focused services that meet the full spectrum of client needs.»

The leadership teams of both companies will remain in place, ensuring continuity and top-tier service throughout the transition, as further revealed. Clients will benefit from expanded capabilities without disruption, thanks to a carefully planned integration that preserves both relationships and performance.

Dominic Schacher, CEO and Founder of Aument Capital, sees the merger as a quantum leap: «Our clients will gain access to decades of investment experience and greater scale – while we retain our innovative, tech-driven DNA.»

Growth Potential in a Booming Market

This merger creates one of the most comprehensive independent wealth management platforms in Singapore – just as demand for individualized family office solutions is surging in the region. With backing from Carret Private Capital in North Asia (Hong Kong), the platform is ideally positioned to scale rapidly and launch new services.

The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2025, subject to regulatory approval.
