Crypto-Bank Poaches Credit Suisse Veteran

Amina Bank has named Alessandro Manfron as the chief of staff to the chief client officer EMEA. Manfron assumed the role this month, he shared via his LinkedIn profile.
He reports to the chief client officer EMEA, Markus Menzl.
Extensive Leadership Experience in Wealth Management
Manfron previously spent over two decades working for Credit Suisse-UBS in various management positions. He was most recently the team head USG Evolution and an executive director at UBS in Zurich. From 2022 until 2023, he was the head UHNWI segment development and facilitation within the wealth management division at Credit Suisse. His other significant roles at Credit Suisse include chief of staff premium clients, head business management and development premium clients, head key client coverage Switzerland, and Head UHNWI solution Managers Brazil. Earlier in his career, he was also the head business management Brazil and Bahamas International at Credit Suisse.
A New Chapter in Crypto Banking
Commenting on his move to Amina, Manfron said, «After 20 years at Credit Suisse and UBS, it’s time to start a new chapter: I’m excited to join Amina Bank, a regulated Swiss crypto bank, as Chief of Staff to the Chief Client Officer EMEA. I’m truly looking forward to combining my experience in UHNWI and SFO wealth management with the innovation and momentum of crypto banking.»
Manfron’s transition to the crypto bank was not the only recent change in his professional life. In June, he also joined the advisory board of the private equity and venture capital firm, TheBiTechnologies.
