Clemens Kaiser has been named Chief Country Officer Switzerland and CEO of Deutsche Bank (Suisse) SA, the bank announced on Thursday. The appointment is subject to regulatory approval by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (Finma).

End of the interim leadership

Kaiser succeeds Alessandro Balestra, who had held both roles on an interim basis since Loïc Voide’s departure from Deutsche Bank in November 2024.

Based in Zurich, Kaiser will report to Roberto Parazzini, Regional CEO for Western Europe, according to the release. He will also retain his role as Head of Private Bank Central Europe & Switzerland, in which he reports to Arjun Nagarkatti, Head of Private Bank US & Europe International.

25 years with Deutsche Bank

Kaiser holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Tübingen and joined Deutsche Bank 25 years ago as a trainee. Since then, he has held various positions within the bank. He has been with Deutsche Bank (Suisse) SA since 2006 and has served on its Executive Board for the past five years.
