Switzerland Needs Game Changer Like Revolut or Wise, Says IT CEO
Igor Izraylevych aims to drive the Swiss financial sector forward in artificial intelligence. While he sees strong fundamentals in the country, he believes Switzerland is missing a groundbreaking innovation.
Izraylevych knew early on what he wanted. At just 22, he entered the IT consulting business and founded his own company. Today, S-Pro employs over 250 people and also has branches in Ukraine, Poland as well as in the Netherlands and the USA.
However, Switzerland is the company’s core market, given its vast number of financial institutions. Headquartered in Zurich, S-Pro specializes in digital innovation and software engineering.
Demands of the younger generation
Izraylevych speaks of an accelerating digital transformation, particularly in wealth management. «The younger generation demands high-quality service and 24/7 access to their data. The industry must adapt and adjust its systems accordingly,» he says.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is playing an increasingly vital role in this evolution. «With my company, I want to contribute to Switzerland’s progress in AI,» he states, highlighting an S-Pro proprietary development that helps firms streamline their operations more efficiently. One example is Stableton AG, a Swiss investment platform specializing in private markets. S-PRO developed a state-of-the-art investment platform that streamlined deal sourcing, due diligence, and compliance processes. The result was faster investment execution, better data-driven decision-making, and stronger regulatory compliance.
In the venture capital space, S-PRO worked with Earlybird VC to develop an AI-powered investment platform. This solution leveraged predictive analytics to assess risks and identify promising opportunities, ultimately improving investment outcomes.
Place even greater emphasis on the Swiss finish
Izraylevych is highly optimistic about Switzerland as a financial center, emphasizing the immense opportunities available to companies. «I am convinced that we will see further growth in the next five years, particularly in the crypto sector,» he says.
However, he sees one shortcoming: «Switzerland is one of the most innovative countries in the world. Given this, the country should strive to develop a game-changing financial solution like Revolut or Wise,» he argues.
