An increasing number of banks in the Anglo-Saxon world are calling their employees back to the office, as reported by finews.com.

UBS has not gone that far yet. However, on Thursday, the combined global bank internally announced that employees will be required to be present in the office three days a week unless their function or role requires more than three days of attendance or if specific country- or entity-related requirements apply.

Additionally, one of the in-office days needs to be a Monday or Friday. With this measure, the bank aims to achieve a more balanced occupancy of office spaces.

For employees working part-time, the aim is to be present in the office 60% of the working time.
