Mr. Bruna, why did you become a hotelier/hotel director?

I have always wanted to create an environment where people feel comfortable and welcome. Leading a team that is passionate about providing guests with a home away from home brings me great joy. My passion for service and hospitality has been the driving force throughout my career. The desire to welcome guests, offer them comfort, and create unforgettable experiences is always my top priority.

What are five features that set your hotel apart?

The Giardino Mountain stands out for its unique blend of modern design and luxurious comfort in an alpine setting. It consists of seven Engadin-style houses, combining tradition and innovation to create a one-of-a-kind atmosphere. Guests enjoy:

Hospitality means providing guests with an unforgettable overall experience—far beyond just accommodation. Excellent guest service involves anticipating their needs, acting proactively, and creating tailored experiences that cater to their desires.

What does your hotel offer for a «perfect weekend» for two?

For a perfect weekend for two, we offer unique experiences such as:

- A romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride through the Roseg Valley.
- Full-moon skiing on the Diavolezza.
- The Snow Night Corvatsch, featuring nighttime skiing and atmospheric events.

What are your plans for the hotel?

My plans for the hotel are focused not only on achieving economic success but also on making it a place where our guests want to return time and time again.

How is the hotel’s gastronomy evolving?

Our gastronomy is constantly evolving as we prioritize quality, variety, and meeting our guests’ needs. We offer diverse culinary experiences in our three on-site restaurants:

- Stüva, specializing in local, traditional cuisine.
- Hide & Seek, featuring reinterpreted classics.
- Ecco, our two-Michelin-star restaurant.

What is the best advice you received from your parents?

The best advice I received from my parents was: «Treat others the way you want to be treated.»
This simple yet powerful principle still guides my actions—both professionally and personally. In hospitality, it means showing respect, empathy, and appreciation to every guest and employee. It reminds me that genuine hospitality and sincere interest in people are the keys to success.

Raised in Cologne, he combines the warmth of southern Italy with the discipline and determination of his new home, Switzerland. As a hotel general manager, he brings his multilingual skills—speaking four languages fluently—and his love for hospitality into his daily work. With a clear focus on quality, team leadership, and guest satisfaction, he has made a name for himself in the hospitality industry.
