CA Indosuez Recruits Manager from French Competitor
CA Indosuez (Switzerland) has named Mikhail Galtsov as the new Head of Corporate and Investment Banking. In this position, he will also join the bank’s General Management Committee (GMC), according to a statement released on Friday.
Galtsov will report directly to CEO Marc-André Poirier and to Georg Orssich, the European Regional Head at parent company Crédit Agricole CIB.
With over 25 years of experience in corporate and investment banking, Galtsov has held senior roles in Switzerland and internationally. He began his career with Deutsche Bank in New York, later moving to Europe with UniCredit and BayernLB.
Since late 2022, he has held various leadership roles at BNP Paribas in Switzerland (Geneva and Zurich) and Moscow, with a focus on Structured Finance Origination, Commodity Trade Finance, and Corporate Coverage for Switzerland.
Expanding with Major Corporates
The appointment aims to strengthen CA Indosuez’s corporate banking presence, particularly with large Swiss companies and Swiss subsidiaries of multinational corporations.
CEO Poirier notes, «Corporate Banking and Private Banking complement each other well, and the synergies we can build between these divisions, along with other Crédit Agricole units in Switzerland, are highly promising.»
Indosuez is among the three largest foreign banks in Switzerland, with activities spanning commodity finance, commercial banking, and wealth management.
