The Lugano-based wealth manager Colombo Wealth marked its 50th anniversary with an event featuring notable speakers and over 100 invited guests. 

The Finma-regulated Swiss wealth manager, headquartered in Lugano with offices in Zurich and Geneva, and a stake in European Capital Partners in Luxembourg, hosted a symposium that drew renowned experts from Switzerland and abroad.

Danilo Colombo, son of founder Dario Colombo, welcomed guests to the event. This was followed by a keynote from Italian TV anchor, best-selling author, and economist Alan Friedman, who spoke on the geopolitical landscape and the upcoming U.S. elections. Fernando Alberti, a professor of entrepreneurship and head of the Harvard Business School Think Tank Strategique, gave a compelling presentation on the future of business models, emphasizing how companies must innovate through artificial intelligence and social media.

In a panel discussion titled «Art and Investment» speakers explored the intersection of art and investment, reflecting the Colombo family’s passion for art. The panel included Giorgia von Albertini, of Hauser & Wirth, Financial Times journalist and Art Newspaper editor Giorgina Adam, and Giovanni Miccoli, Chief Investment Officer, of Colombo Wealth SA.

Former Swiss Federal Councillor Ruth Metzler, as President of the Swiss Guard Foundation, spoke alongside former Swiss Guard Sylvain Queloz on the values of the Pontifical Swiss Guard and life in the Vatican.
