Helsana Appoints New Board Chair Successor
Helsana's current Board Chair, Thomas Szucs (pictured below), announced months ago that he would step down next year. Now, his designated successor has been confirmed.
The supervisory board of the health insurer has nominated Daniel Liedtke as the new Chair, according to a statement released on Friday. His election is scheduled for May 2025, with the actual transition to the new leadership role taking place in early October.
Liedtke is currently the Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Hirslanden private hospital group. He will step down from these roles when he transitions to Helsana.
15 Years as Board Chair
Szucs, who has served as Board Chair at Helsana for 15 years, was asked to extend his mandate by four months to ensure a seamless transition, the statement adds.
