With a six-member team, fund manager David Tovey has founded the new asset management boutique Covale Capital, based in London and Zug. According to a statement released Thursday, Covale will initially focus on Swiss equities and has already launched two related funds.

Implementing Investment Process in a New Environment

Tovey spent nearly 23 years at BlackRock as a portfolio manager specializing in Swiss and European equities. At Covale Capital, he serves as the Chief Investment Officer, overseeing the investment strategy.

«The launch of Covale Capital presents an exciting opportunity to implement our proven investment process in a new environment. Our goal is to create added value for our investors in the Swiss equities space,» Tovey said.

The team around Tovey includes Shane Jackson (Partner, CEO), Martin Kazimir (Partner, Business Development), Martin Fasel (Partner, Business Development), Alistair Ceurvorst (Investment Analyst), Steven Chambers (Investment Analyst), and John Close (Head of Operations).
