UBS Veteran Joins Swiss Private Bank in Western Switzerland
The Western Swiss private bank Piguet Galland which is part of Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV), has hired Gilles Duvoisin, a veteran client advisor from UBS, as announced in a press release on Thursday. In his new role as a «Wealth Advisor», he will strengthen the team by providing direct client support.
The bank, based in Neuchâtel, operates across six locations in the Romandy region, including Neuchâtel, Lausanne, Nyon, Geneva, Yverdon-les-Bains, and La Chaux-de-Fonds, the latter of which was added in 2021.
Entrepreneurial Advisory Expertise
Duvoisin brings with him around 25 years of industry experience. He worked for more than eight years at BCV in the Lausanne region and then spent over 17 years at UBS, most recently in the Executive & Entrepreneurs division.
According to further reports, Piguet Galland has seen steadily growing client demand in the Romandy region in recent years. «Gilles Duvoisin enriches our team with his expertise in entrepreneurial advisory. His extensive asset management experience, combined with in-depth knowledge of the region, is perfectly aligned with the specific needs of local entrepreneurs,» said Selman Bicaco, Director of Private Clients at Piguet Galland.
As of the end of 2023, the BCV subsidiary managed just over 7 billion Swiss francs in client assets and reported a significant profit increase last year, according to by finews.ch.
