Commerzbank is now providing corporate clients in Germany with access to crypto assets, through a collaboration with Deutsche Börse's subsidiary, Crpyto Finance, a company based in Zurich and part of Swiss Crypto Finance. This was announced by both companies on Thursday.

Initially, the offering will focus on Bitcoin and Ether, and during the first phase, it will be available to select existing corporate clients of Commerzbank in Germany.

Crypto Finance Ensures Trading

Commerzbank will handle the custody of the crypto assets, while Crypto Finance will ensure the trading of these digital assets.

«The partnership with Commerzbank marks a significant milestone for Crypto Finance, as it allows us to offer more companies and institutions in Germany access to regulated crypto services,» said Stijn Vander Straeten, Chief Executive Officer of Crypto Finance.

This year, Crypto Finance Group received four BaFin licenses in Germany to offer trading and custody services.
