Aargau Asset Manager Changes Hands
Sensusplus is now under new ownership. Corum Holding has taken over the Menziken-based asset manager through the acquisition of KMB Investment & Management AG.
Sensusplus was previously led by Ruedi Hug and Gilbert Jungo, who took over the company in 2010. Due to their approaching retirement, they have decided to pass the business into new hands and gradually reduce their responsibilities.
With Corum, they have found a partner that shares their philosophy.
Corum Holding includes Corum Vermögensverwaltung in Zurich, Corum Vermögensverwaltung in Munich, Germany, and Corum Wealth Management in Zurich. The latter was established to support small and medium-sized asset managers in managing growing challenges – particularly in the areas of regulation, outsourcing, and mergers or succession planning.
Strengthening Presence in Germany
The new owners plan to further expand Sensusplus.
The Corum Group itself aims to increase its market share in Germany. «This acquisition is an important milestone for us to further strengthen our position in the DACH region and offer comprehensive succession solutions beyond national borders,» explains Thomas Tietz, CEO of Corum Wealth Management Platform.
