Management and technology consultancy, BearingPoint, is expanding its Finance & Risk team. Thea Caminada will join as a new Partner and Head of Finance & Risk at the firm’s Zurich office.

According to the announcement made on Monday, Caminada has over 17 years of experience in both national and international financial function transformation, including SAP implementation. Prior to her consulting career, she held various finance roles across multiple companies. Her expertise spans industries such as consumer goods and retail, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, the public sector, utilities, postal services, and transportation.

The newly appointed partner emphasized the importance of maximizing the full value from fintech initiatives in her projects. «Additionally, I ensure that the finance function is equipped to provide valuable insights and efficiently meet the requirements for financial and ESG reporting.»

Claudio Stadelmann, Partner and Head of Swiss Operations, expressed his satisfaction with the appointment, stating that BearingPoint had secured «a proven cross-industry expert.»Stadelmann has been leading the Swiss business since mid-2023, when the firm also announced plans to expand its teams in Zurich and Geneva, as reported by finews.ch.
