UBS Executive Named New CEO of Cinerius

The board of directors of the Cinerius Group has named Joël Schüepp as its new CEO. Schüepp will take up his position on November 1st. He most recently served as Managing Director at both Credit Suisse and UBS and was previously a partner at the Boston Consulting Group. Schüepp brings extensive experience in wealth management.

Over the past three years, the Cinerius Group has experienced strong growth in Switzerland and Germany. According to the company, it has particularly resonated with independent asset managers in the DACH region, Luxembourg, and Liechtenstein. With its new CEO, Cinerius now aims to embark on the next stage of development. «Schüepp brings extensive experience in serving wealth management clients, as well as deep expertise in personnel and corporate development, and a forward-looking focus on trends in asset management,» the company stated in a press release.

Joël Schüepp expressed confidence about the future: «We are well-equipped with the personnel and financial resources to onboard additional wealth management firms.»

Currently, nine asset managers from the DACH region and Liechtenstein operate under the Cinerius Group umbrella. The group oversees assets totaling over 13 billion francs, managed by 160 employees across 15 locations.
