Federated Hermes Limited has been active in Switzerland for the past decade. Now, the US investment firm is strengthening its presence by opening a new office in Zurich. In addition, Pascal Weber has been appointed as Director of Business Development for Switzerland. The expansion of the office and team highlights the importance of the Swiss market to Federated Hermes, according to a statement released on Monday.

Focus on Third-Party Business

In his new role, Weber will report to Angelo Natale, Head of Business Development for CEMEA. He will also focus on expanding third-party business, with a particular emphasis on the Swiss wholesale market.

Weber will work alongside Michael Kalenberg, Director of Business Development for Switzerland, at the new Zurich office. Kalenberg joined Federated Hermes in 2014 and is responsible for business development and strengthening relationships with Swiss institutional clients.

Previously, Weber held roles such as Head of Business Development and Client Coverage at Credit Suisse.

Optimizing Investment Solutions
