U.S. Financial Giant Acquires Zurich Investment Boutique
Global investment firm Cambridge Associates (CA) announced on Wednesday that it has acquired Siglo Capital Advisors, a Zurich-based investment boutique.
Founded in 2010, Siglo specializes in alternative investment solutions such as Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS), Private Debt, Drawdown Management, and Impact Investing, primarily serving pension funds and other institutional and professional clients in Switzerland. Siglo employs around ten staff members.
Third Location in Europe
CA advises on assets totaling approximately 500 billion Swiss francs and operates European offices in London and Munich, where it has been serving European pension funds, foundations, and private clients for nearly 40 years. With the acquisition of Siglo, Zurich will become the company's first office in Switzerland.
David Druley, CEO of Cambridge Associates, emphasized the significance of the deal: «Integrating the entire Siglo team and establishing a presence in Switzerland will enhance our commitment to Swiss and DACH clients, demonstrating our long-term commitment to the Swiss market. Europe has long been a core market for Cambridge Associates, and we are very pleased about this next phase in our efforts to provide excellent service to clients across the region.»
Over 50 Years of Experience
As one of the pioneers in Private Markets advisory and investment, Boston-based CA has worked for over 50 years with institutional and family office investors, helping shape the global private markets landscape. Siglo clients will now benefit from global investment opportunities across a broad range of asset classes, supported by CA's investment and research professionals in twelve global offices.
