Two Changes in the Management of Allianz Suisse

Stefan Rapp, Chief Financial Officer, will step down from his operational role at Allianz Suisse as of January 1, 2025, after 16 years with the company. However, according to a statement, he will remain on the Board of Directors of Allianz Suisse Immobilien. He will be succeeded by the current Chief Risk Officer, Remo Cavegn.

«Since 2008, Stefan Rapp has made an outstanding contribution to the sustainable success of Allianz Suisse with his exceptional performance,» said Ruedi Kubat, CEO of Allianz Suisse.

Remo Cavegn joined Allianz Suisse in 2001 and became Chief Risk Officer in 2020.

Wienhausen moves to Germany

Hanno Wienhausen, who joined Allianz Suisse in January 2022 as Chief Underwriting Officer, marks the second change in the management of Allianz Suisse. As of October 1, 2024, Wienhausen will join the board of Allianz Beratungs- und Vertriebs-AG (ABV) in Germany. He will be succeeded by Gregor Huber, the current Head of Corporate Business at Allianz Suisse and Managing Director of Allianz Commercial in Switzerland.

«Hanno Wienhausen has significantly and successfully advanced the P&C business in a challenging environment,» said CEO Ruedi Kubat.

Gregor Huber has led Allianz Suisse's corporate business in the P&C sector since 2018 and has also served as Managing Director of Allianz Commercial in Switzerland since 2023. «During this time, he led the corporate customer business to remarkable success, achieving the highest premium income and operational results in the history of Allianz Suisse,» the statement reads.
