Gentwo Accelerates Expansion With Prominent Support
Gentwo is aiming higher. This October, the Zurich fintech will kick off its international expansion strategy by beginning operations in the United Kingdom, the company announced on Monday. The opening of the UK office will be celebrated with an event at the Swiss Embassy in London. «The United Kingdom, with its robust financial services sector and London’s standing as a global financial hub, offers an ideal launchpad for Gentwo’s international growth,» the fintech stated.
Significant Market Share Expansion Achieved in one Decisive Move
The United Kingdom accounts for 20 percent of the global wealth management market, a share equivalent to that of Switzerland. «This strategic expansion will enable Gentwo to offer solutions across 40 percent of the global wealth management market, thereby significantly increasing its reach and impact,» the company added.
US Expansion to Follow in 2025
Next year, the company plans to expand into the United States, aiming to tap into a larger pool of investors and strategic global firms, thus further enhancing Gentwo’s global footprint.
Leadership Reinforcement
To support this expansion, Gentwo has secured the expertise of three financial specialists: Gilles Stuck, Goran Gusic, and Scott Miller.
Gilles Stuck has joined Gentwo as Chief of Global Markets, where he will spearhead the company's international market expansion and global sales initiatives. Prior to this role, he was the Market Head for Switzerland at Julius Baer.
Goran Gusic, a Swiss national based in London, has been appointed as Head of UK. With expertise in derivatives, Gusic previously worked at Barclays, Citibank, and Morgan Stanley.
The US operations will be led by Scott Miller, based in New York. He brings over 20 years of experience in equity derivatives and structured products, including leadership roles at Wells Fargo and NYDIG.
«Our success in Switzerland has proven the immense potential of our securitization platform,» said Philippe A. Naegeli, CEO of Gentwo.
