Julius Baer Appoints New Head for Lucerne Branch
Andreas Weisshaupt will assume the role of Head of the Lucerne branch at Julius Baer, effective January 1, 2025. He will join the bank on December 1, 2024.
Weisshaupt will succeed Jürg Haverkamp, who has led the Central Switzerland branch for the past five years and has held various leadership positions at Julius Baer in Lucerne since 1999. According to a statement released on Monday, Haverkamp has decided to focus on client advisory until his retirement in 2026.
From Luzerner Kantonalbank to Julius Baer
Since 2018, Weisshaupt has led the Private Banking Entrepreneur Desk at Luzerner Kantonalbank. Prior to that, he was responsible for Private Clients & Family Office at the consulting firm Balmer-Etienne in Lucerne.
«We are delighted to have secured Andreas Weisshaupt as an exceptional successor. We are confident that his in-depth financial knowledge, extensive experience, and strong local network will be instrumental in continuing our success in Lucerne and supporting our local clients in achieving their financial goals,» says Gieri Giger, Head of Mittelland & Central Switzerland at Julius Baer.
