EBG Investment Solutions, a Zurich-based private market boutique specializing in impact investments for institutional investors, has been authorized by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) as a collective assets manager and has appointed Duarte da Silva as an additional Managing Partner, as announced on Tuesday.

Duarte da Silva joins EBG as an additional Managing Partner, bringing over 20 years of international private equity experience across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the USA, with a strong focus on sustainability and impact. Over the past eight years, he served as Managing Director at Asia Climate Partners, one of Asia's largest growth equity climate funds with $500 million in assets. Prior to that, he helped build the Cleantech sector at the Asian Development Bank and worked for the Environmental Business Group at Credit Suisse—the predecessor of EBG, which he co-founded in 2008.
